Zoophoria Brought the Critters to Beach Haven Public Library!
On August 7, Beach Haven Public Library welcomed Samantha Slevens and her amazing wildlife friends for an unforgettable Zoophoria program. Families got to meet a sixty-pound tortoise named Tripod, a boa constrictor, and other fascinating creatures up close!
Children learned about how to protect endangered species, preserve natural habitats, and even picked up the Spanish names for some of the animals. The library garden was buzzing with excitement, curiosity, and plenty of smiles as kids (and adults!) discovered the beauty and importance of wildlife.
